Your device may work well on the bench, but a customer still needs to find it, pair it and understand whether setup has succeeded. A confusing first connection can turn into a support enquiry before they have used the product.
We design the journey from an unopened device to its first useful action. That includes permission prompts, connection status, network setup and clear instructions when something goes wrong. For manufacturers and electronics integrators, this is the software layer around the hardware you already know.
Local control, remote access or both
A Bluetooth companion app can work near a device. A cloud-connected application may let a customer check or control it remotely. Some products need both. We review your hardware capabilities and make the connection method clear to the user.
A command also needs an honest status. Has it been requested, delivered or carried out? The application should reflect the confirmation available from the device, particularly if a connection drops halfway through an action.
Test with the hardware people will receive
We work with sample devices, firmware versions and protocol documentation. Testing covers more than the happy path: reconnecting after sleep, changing phones, resetting a device and recovering from an interrupted setup.
The handover between app and firmware teams is agreed early. This helps avoid a screen depending on a device response that does not exist, or a firmware change breaking an already released app.

Do you write firmware as part of the app project?
The core service is application development. We agree the interface with your firmware team and identify any firmware work needed for the app. Additional responsibilities must be scoped explicitly.
Can one customer have several devices?
Yes. We can include device naming, grouping, sharing and switching between devices. Ownership changes and account recovery need to be considered too.
What do you need from our hardware team?
A sample device, supported protocol or SDK documentation, representative messages and a contact who can answer firmware questions. If those are incomplete, we can start with a connection assessment.
